Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsible for overseeing the entire design lifecycle for MEP systems across 9 elevated stations. This role ensures that all engineering designs for HVAC, Electrification, and Firefighting are integrated, compliant with Employer's requirements, and delivered on schedule

Design Oversight: Manages the planning and design activities for all Electrical and Mechanical (E&M) works . Technical Integration: Ensures design integration across disciplines including civil, mechanical, electrical, and BIM . Interface Management: Coordinates with the Chief Interface Coordinator to resolve spatial or functional design conflicts . Digital Workflow: Drives the design process through BIM frameworks to ensure 3D model accuracy and virtual design verification . Compliance: Guarantees that all designs adhere to tender specifications, ISO 9001 standards, and CMRL's quality assurance requirements

. Educational Background B.E. in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering is mandatory. 2. Professional Experience Total Career Span: Minimum 15 years of total professional work experience . Similar Experience: Minimum 8 years specifically in design management for large-scale E&M or metro infrastructure projects . Sector Expertise: Proven track record in managing design for multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects. 3. Key Competencies Technical Expertise: Deep expertise in E&M works including HVAC, firefighting, and electrification systems . Communication: Fluent in written and spoken English for technical liaison with the Engineer . Leadership: Ability to lead a team of design engineers and BIM modellers.
