Summary:

We are looking for a talented and experienced WordPress and SEO Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in WordPress development and SEO.

As a WordPress and SEO Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our WordPress websites, as well as optimizing them for search engines. You will also work closely with the SEO team to develop and implement SEO strategies for our websites.We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites and web applications. Your expertise in WordPress development, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail will contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality projects.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop custom WordPress themes, plugins, and templates to meet project requirements.

Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other team members to translate design concepts into functional websites.

Customise and extend existing WordPress themes and plugins to enhance functionality and ensure compatibility.

Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code following WordPress coding standards.

Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure optimal performance and a bug-free user experience.

Optimize websites for speed, performance, and scalability.

Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and external services as needed.

Maintain and update existing WordPress websites, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.

Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices.

Collaborate with team members on code reviews, architectural discussions, and problem-solving.

Assist in the deployment and maintenance of WordPress sites.

Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers when necessary.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of WordPress-based websites and applications.

In-depth knowledge of WordPress architecture, themes, templates, and plugin development.

Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.

Experience with front-end development frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap) and responsive web design principles.

Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.

Strong understanding of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility.

Experience with debugging tools and techniques to identify and resolve issues.

Knowledge of SEO best practices and implementing SEO-friendly WordPress solutions.

Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.

Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
