KITCHEN ADMINISTRATOR
JOB OVERVIEW
This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative tasks and providing support to the smooth operation. Your role will encompass a variety of tasks related to office administration, inventory management, and customer service. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently and provides excellent service to customers.
QUALIFICATION
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or retail management certifications is a plus.
- Experience in office administration or related roles
- Proficiency in using office software, including Microsoft Office suite
- Familiarity with inventory management system is a plus
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of local traffic regulations and safety standards
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Manage office supplies and order new stock as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors for office maintenance and repairs.
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors for timely deliveries
- Generate and update reports related to various administrative reports
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Develop and manage the administrative budget, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain and organize company records, documents, and files, ensuring they are easily accessible and well-organized
- Oversee the organization's technology and IT infrastructure, working closely with the IT department
- Ensure that hardware, software, and communication systems are up to date and functional
- Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
