Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Software Testing Lead. As the Software Testing Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the application. You will be responsible for overseeing the testing process, coordinating with the development team, and implementing effective testing strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of software applications.

• Lead a team of software testers and provide guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to ensure high-quality testing practices.

• Collaborate closely with the development team to understand project requirements, identify potential issues, and ensure proper test coverage.

• Conduct thorough testing activities, including functional, regression, performance, and usability testing, to identify defects and verify software functionality.

• Establish and maintain testing metrics, track and report on test progress, defect trends, and quality metrics to stakeholders.

• Identify and prioritize testing activities based on project timelines, risks, and business needs.

• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies by staying updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies.

• Ensure adherence to testing standards, processes, and procedures across projects.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective communication of testing activities, results, and project status.

• Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members to build a high-performing testing team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Software Tester or Software Testing Lead, preferably in a fast-paced software development environment.

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test automation, and industry best practices.

• Proficient in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

• Hands-on experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.

• Excellent knowledge of different types of testing, such as functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.

• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Leadership abilities with a track record of successfully leading and mentoring a team.

• Preferred Qualifications:

ISTQB or other software testing certifications.

Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, Robo Framework, JUnit, or TestNG.

Knowledge of programming languages like Java or Python

Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments and services.
