Key responsibilities:

 1. Write quality code and maintain/improve coding standard

2. Produce detailed specifications and follow best industry practices

3. Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality

4. Contribute to all phases of the development life cycle

5. Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools

6. Define the technical architecture of their projects, including finalizing the DB schema

7. Monitor the development activities and report project progress

8. Work on managing, mentoring, and providing technical guidance/support to junior team members

9. Review/Improve current processes/methodologies
