Responsibilities

In this position, individuals develop and evaluate compliance with programs and processes to mitigate cybersecurity risk and ensure protection of company and allied assets and information.

• Operates the company's complex high-traffic, business-critical internet site communications and/or network-based cloud product systems.
• Researches and interprets current and pending governmental laws and regulations, industry standards, and customer and vendor contracts to communicate compliance requirements.
• Defines, designs, and implements network communications and solution improvements.
• Proposes and implements system enhancements, including software and hardware updates, that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
• Conducts tests of network redundancy, resilience, and failover of network elements to ensure uptime standards are fully achieved.
• May be required to provide on-call service coverage with other department employees.
• Develops and evaluates compliance with programs and processes to mitigate cybersecurity risk and ensure. protection of company and allied assets and information
• Conducts information security risk assessments, security compliance audits, and cybersecurity audits.
• Maintains compliance of internal IT security controls by meeting internal and external information security requirements.
• Documents, investigates, and reports cybersecurity compliance issues and incidents.
• Works with IT management and business leaders to ensure information security risk findings are reviewed and solutions are implemented.
• Oversees or performs network security audits and testing and evaluates system security configurations to ensure efficacy and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Oversees or conducts penetration testing and vulnerability assessments of applications, operating systems, and/or networks.
• Responds to cybersecurity breaches, identifies intrusions, and isolates, blocks, and removes unauthorized access.
• Researches and evaluates cybersecurity threats.
• Oversees or performs root cause analysis.
• Creation and implementation of security solutions.
• Provides information to management regarding impacts on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration, or denial of access to information and systems.
• Receives most individual tasks and group participation assignments from management.

Education / Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years of experience in a Cloud Security & Network role
• 6-9 Years of relevant experience.

Skill Required

• Strong exposure in understanding of industry-leading tools for measuring application security.
• Proficient in cloud infrastructure with the ability to review code using various tools.
• Strong Application Security experience.
• Previous experience as a software developer and/or demonstrated experience with SDLC implementations.
• Knowledgeable in software development patterns and building applications for a zero-trust operating model
