Key Responsibilities
- Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
- Compiling, analysing, and reporting financial data.
- Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
- Presenting data to managers, investors, and other entities.
- Maintaining accurate financial records.
- Performing audits and resolving discrepancies. Monitor and resolve bank issues including fee anomalies and check differences.
- Computing taxes, GST calculations
- Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
- Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
- Prepare tax computations.
- Prepare monthly payroll.
- Review and process expense reports
- Assist with the preparation and coordination of the audit process.
- Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
- Preparation of Domestic and Export sales Invoices and taking follow-ups from clients for payment.
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
Candidate Profile:
You have:
- Strong communication, and computer skills.
- Understanding of mathematics and accounting and financial processes.
- Ethical behaviour.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
Awesome to have:
- Any experience working in Information Technology or Software organizations.
- Knowledge of invoicing and payroll software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors or masters degree in finance
- Min 3 years of experience as an accountant
1-2 years of work experience in preparing payroll and GST, and TDS calculations
