? Job Summary
The Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling all manufacturing processes in the garments unit. The role ensures on-time production, quality standards, cost control, and efficient manpower utilization, especially in sportswear production (sublimation, stitching, finishing).
? Key Responsibilities
? Production Planning & Execution
Plan daily, weekly, and monthly production targets
Ensure smooth workflow across cutting, stitching, printing, and finishing
Monitor production output and achieve delivery deadlines
? Team Management
Handle supervisors, tailors, helpers, and operators
Allocate work and manage line balancing
Train and guide staff to improve efficiency
?? Process Control (Garments)
Oversee cutting, stitching, sublimation printing, ironing, and packing
Ensure proper machine utilization
Improve production methods and reduce wastage
? Quality Control
Maintain quality standards for sportswear garments
Coordinate with QC team to reduce defects
Ensure customer specifications are followed
? Cost & Efficiency
Control production cost and minimize fabric wastage
Improve productivity and efficiency
Monitor rejection and rework
? Delivery & Coordination
Coordinate with merchandising and dispatch teams
Ensure timely order completion
Maintain production reports and MIS
? Required Skills (Sportswear Focused)
Experience in sportswear / jersey production
Knowledge of sublimation printing process
Strong understanding of garment manufacturing flow
Line balancing and manpower handling skills
Problem-solving and decision-making ability
Basic computer knowledge (Excel, reports)
? Qualification
Diploma / Degree in Garment Technology / Textile
OR Minimum 5–10 years experience in garments production
? Salary Range
?25,000 to ?60,000/month (based on experience)
? Work Timing & OT
? 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
? Lunch Break: 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM
? OT: As per factory requirement (1.5x pay)
