This position will be responsible for managing IT software asset management function. Role required to manage software assets management function including software compliance, maintaining accurate view of software compliance risk and participate in internal software license audits. Key Responsibilities • Reclaiming budget and maximizing savings by actively controlling and automating procurement, usage, and deployment of software licenses. • Use SAM management tools to approve, deploy, update, and remove software products from user systems • Process software application requests from employees • Participate in software supplier audits • Collaborate with Business, IT and other groups during software purchase, renewals and conversions • Reclaiming budget and maximizing savings by actively controlling and automating procurement, usage, and deployment of software licenses. • Use SAM management tools to approve, deploy, update, and remove software products from user systems • Process software application requests from employees • Participate in software supplier audits • Collaborate with Business, IT and other groups during software purchase, renewals and conversions Knowledge: • Possess a solid understanding of IT asset management policies, procedures and best practices • Experience with software vendor license compliance audits or license validation requests, in consultation with the relevant legal and procurement managers and other appointed delegates • Moderate to Advanced experience using MS Excel, Access, SQL and similar tools • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex software entitlement and usage data and present results to business leaders • Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the objective of delivering a positive customer experience • Proven ability to collaborate, build relationships, work independently and influence individuals at all levels in a matrixed management environment. Minimum Qualifications • Minimum of 5+ years of related Software and Hardware Asset Management experience with a bachelor's degree. • 3+ years of hand-on experience implementing and managing a Software Asset Management Tool and SAM practice
