Role Overview:
The Business Development Manager will drive client acquisition and revenue growth for the staffing business by identifying hiring needs, building long-term client relationships, and offering customized recruitment solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and acquire new clients for staffing and recruitment services
Generate leads through field visits, cold calling, networking, and references
Understand client hiring requirements and propose suitable staffing solutions
Manage end-to-end client lifecycle from onboarding to closure
Coordinate with the recruitment team to ensure timely delivery of candidates
Negotiate commercial terms and close deals
Maintain strong client relationships for repeat business and referrals
Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue targets
Track market trends, competitor activity, and industry demands
Requirements:
Proven experience in business development, preferably in staffing/recruitment or HR services
Strong communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills
Target-driven with a field sales mindset
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
Basic knowledge of recruitment processes and hiring cycles
Preferred:
Experience in B2B sales
Local market knowledge (industrial areas, corporate hubs, etc.)
Existing client database is an added advantage
