Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Passionate about sports and fashion.
- Advanced cross-functional Marketing knowledge and Market experience in sport and/or fashion/lifestyle categories (sporting goods industry preferred).
- Consumer-focused with deep product understanding and an excellent ability to balance brand and commercial aspects to build effective GTM plans.
- Advanced cross functional marketing knowledge and market experience with strong understanding of Retail, eCom and WHS channels in sporting goods, fashion or other GenZ culture brands.
- Exposure to merchandising approach including assortment planning, Open to Buy, launch and exit calendars, rate of sales, and to VM planning & execution.
- Ability to guide optimal range building as per segmentation strategy and option plan (product type, gender, price points) for different channels.
- Pro-active (engaging & impact-oriented) mind-set, ability to think end-to-end.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Commercial acumen: Very good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment with experience working with a diverse team.
- Advanced user of MS Office suite of products.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in Business and/or a minimum of 4-6 years equivalent professional experience in product Marketing.
- 3+ years Merchandising experience, ideally in sporting goods or fashion brands on a global scale.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience and passion for sport.
- Proficient in MS Office, mainly Excel and PowerPoint.
