Job Summary
The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, execution, and monitoring of bio-mining and legacy waste remediation projects. The role involves coordinating with municipal authorities, contractors, environmental consultants, and operations teams to ensure safe and efficient processing of legacy waste using bio-mining techniques.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Assist in planning and execution of bio-mining / bio-remediation projects for legacy waste dumpsites.
Prepare project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation plans.
Coordinate site activities including excavation, screening, segregation, composting, and disposal of inert materials.
Monitor daily project progress and ensure adherence to timelines.
Site Management
Supervise waste excavation, trommel screening, and material segregation processes.
Ensure proper handling of recyclables, RDF (Refuse Derived Fuel), soil-like material, and inert waste.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
Manage equipment deployment such as trommel screens, excavators, loaders, and conveyors.
Environmental & Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with municipal solid waste management rules and environmental regulations.
Monitor leachate management, odor control, and dust suppression systems.
Coordinate with environmental consultants for sampling, testing, and reporting.
Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with municipal corporations, project managers, contractors, and vendors.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Maintain project documentation, site records, and compliance reports.
Quality & Safety
Implement site safety standards and environmental safeguards.
Ensure proper PPE usage and safe equipment operation.
Monitor quality of recovered materials and landfill reclamation progress.

Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in:
