Technical Writer

Roles and Responsibilities

? Conceptualize, research, plan, analyze, and author high-quality technical documentation with thorough requirement analysis/information gathering.

? Deliver high-quality content that is technically accurate by ensuring effective reviews by all stakeholders.

? Constantly engage with development teams and other customer-facing SMEs to develop user-interface documentation.

? Ability to work with limited supervision including a little or no supervision in the pursuit of established goals and the resolution of complex issues as they arise.

? Ability to quickly learn and adapt to technology, tools, and processes.

? A strong team player as well as an individual contributor.

? Ability to multi-task, prioritize projects, and complete the projects within deadlines.

Must have

? Structured content authoring – XML/DITA, structured FrameMaker

? Documentation experience with HTML & CSS, XML/DITA, and/or Wiki

? Any content management system or Component Content Management System - SDL

? MS Office, SharePoint

? Tortoise-SVN or any version control repository

Behavioral Skills:

? Willingness to learn new technology

? Very good communication skills

? Should be very interactive and top on deliverables being working from client environment

Qualification :

? Bachelor's or master’s degree in Technical communication or Engineering (Mechanical/EEE/ECE) or English literature

? 3-5 Years of experience in technical writing
