Job Description

Job Summary

• Very good experience in Design, Development, manufacturing, supplier selection, testing & validation
• Perform closely with various engineering as well as design team members to coordinate entire design 
• package as well as requirements.
• Ensure all design schedules are accomplished inclusive of providing regularly project status update to 
• all project engineers.
• Develop and maintain Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R.) 
• Perform & execute DFMEA & PFMEA
• Perform & execute root cause analysis to solve the design & field failure related problem
• Coach and mentor various engineering professionals.
• Lead cost & warranty reduction actions
• Lead cross functional team to resolution of open issues 
• Monitor and respond to quality indicators and warranty trends to perform root cause analysis
• Coach and mentor various engineering professionals.
• Support vehicle launches on-site and be able troubleshoot concerns using calibration & diagnostic tools
• Monitor and respond to quality indicators and warranty trends to perform root cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for transmission design, development, supplier selection, validation, cost & warranty  for high voltage EV application within specified timeline
• Hands on experience in transmission design, development and validation for 4-wheeler (ICE/EV)
• applications 
• Lead and support current model production / design problem solving cross-functional teams to achieve 
• warranty, Cost, and customer satisfaction metrics
• Lead and support new product design and problem solving cross-functional teams for failure mode 
• Hands on Experience in CAE/NVH simulation tool to analyze & optimize the product.
•  Hands on experience on Transmission manufacturing process and proto development 
• Hands on experience on component & system level testing.

Key Skills Required

• Worked in complete product development cycles of design, proto/mass manufacturing, testing & validation (component/vehicle level) of Transmission system for high voltage EV application
• In-depth understanding of design, manufacturing, testing,  validation, failure causes for transmission & driveline systems 
• In-depth knowledge of Integration at vehicle level considering space constraint.
