⇨ Experience in one or more of the following areas: Renewable grid integration studies, Power system economics, Transmission planning, and Reliability assessment.
⇨ Experience with one or more power system simulation tools such as PSCAD/EMTDC, PSS/E, PSLF, ASPEN, ETRAN, Simulink for Power Systems, etc.
⇨ Experience in Power system steady state and dynamic stability studies on solar, wind, storage plants, and utility power systems.
⇨ Desirable experience in user-written model development for Inverters and Power plant controllers in PSSE, PSCAD, TSAT, GE PSLF, DigSILENT, and EMTP-RV.
⇨ Desirable knowledge of programming languages like Python, Fortran, C/C++
⇨ Perform data analysis related to bulk transmission, distributed generation, and power quality studies.
⇨ Write engineering reports that document study results.
⇨ GPS compliance studies.
⇨ Perform RMS and EMT studies.
⇨ Assist in the automation of PSCAD simulations.
⇨ Assist in PSS/E and PSCAD benchmarking
PSSE & PSCAD is mandatory.
