Security Researcher

About the role:

• Reversing and analyzing a wide array of malware on different OSes

• Reversing and analyzing a wide array of malware in different file formats

• Provide detection and remediation of malware for McAfee products.

• Conduct research on specific malware families or attacks.

• Conduct end-to-end analysis on targeted attacks and APT.

• Develop POCs to demonstrate new technology concepts.

About You:

• Understanding of malware attacks, defense strategies, and threat landscape

• 6 months+ years of experience in security research or malware reverse engineering, kernel programming, and debugging with hands-on development of C/C++.

• Strong understanding of Windows internals

• Strong command over programming languages, including C++. Knowledge of Python is an added advantage.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to break down tough security problems into viable technical solutions.
