🔹 VMC Operator – Roles & Responsibilities

1. Operate Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines as per production requirements.

2. Read and understand engineering drawings and job specifications.

3. Load and unload raw materials and finished components safely.

4. Set tools, fixtures, and workpieces properly before machining.

5. Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy and quality.

6. Check dimensions using measuring instruments like vernier caliper and micrometer.

7. Make minor offset corrections if required.

8. Maintain production records and reports.

9. Ensure proper machine cleaning and basic maintenance.

10. Follow safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
