JOB DESCRIPTION
The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills, with an ability to listen and comprehend information and share it with all the key stakeholders, highlighting opportunities for improvement and concerns, if any. He/she must be able to work collaboratively with teams to execute tasks within defined timeframes while maintaining high-quality standards and superior service levels. The ability to take proactive actions and willingness to take up responsibility beyond the assigned work area is a plus.
What are your Key Responsibilities?
- Analyze website internal search (site search) performance and provide suggestions and strategy for improvements
- Produce site search deliverables such as:
- Keyword research & optimization
- Implement redirects
- Creating disambiguator, recommended links and banners
- Dictionary update, sites search audits
- Working on reports by using tools like Omniture, Google Analytics etc.
- Will be working on site search platforms viz. IBM Solr / Endeca etc.
- Creating weekly reports, presentations and operation metrics on resource utilization, productivity etc.
What Skills you should have?
- Excellent communication skills
- Should be internet savvy and able to navigate websites easily
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Omniture, SiteCatalyst
- Should be proficient in Reporting and Analysis
- Good logical aptitude and ability to research on its own
- Must have team management experience
- Preferable to have experience in using enterprise search platform viz. Google Custom Search, MS FAST, Endeca, IBM Solr
- Functional knowledge on working with MS Excel
- Good presentation and research skills
