Key Responsibilities

• Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
• Compiling, analysing, and reporting financial data.
• Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
• Presenting data to managers, investors, and other entities.
• Maintaining accurate financial records.
• Performing audits and resolving discrepancies. Monitor and resolve bank issues including fee anomalies and check differences.
• Computing taxes, GST calculations
• Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
• Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
• Prepare tax computations.
• Prepare monthly payroll.
• Review and process expense reports
• Assist with the preparation and coordination of the audit process.
• Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
• Preparation of Domestic and Export sales Invoices and taking follow-ups from clients for payment.
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary

Candidate Profile:

You have:

• Strong communication, and computer skills.
• Understanding of mathematics and accounting and financial processes.
• Ethical behaviour.
• Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

Awesome to have:

• Any experience working in Information Technology or Software organizations.
• Knowledge of invoicing and payroll software.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors or masters degree in finance
• Min 3 years of experience as an accountant

1-2 years of work experience in preparing payroll and GST, and TDS calculations
